The Philosophy
An interior should feel inevitable — as though the desert light, the materials, and the life lived within it had always belonged together.
For thirty years, Sue Bickerdyke has designed homes across Carefree and the high Sonoran desert with a quiet, editorial hand — warm neutrals drawn from stone and linen, the glint of copper and rose gold, the soft blues of a desert dusk. As an Allied member of the American Society of Interior Designers, her work pairs disciplined craft with an unhurried sense of place.
Every project begins with how a room is meant to be lived in, then layers the furnishings, textiles and art that make it unmistakably yours.
